Myra Nissen, CCH, RSHom(NA) is an advocate of natural healing. She utilizes homeopathy and individualized whole-food nutrition programs in her practice to help clients achieve optimal wellness.

Myra received her certificate in homeopathy from Pacific Academy of Homeopathy. She was awarded the title “CCH”, (Certification in Classical Homeopathy), from the Council for Homeopathic Certification in recognition of meeting and exceeding a standard of excellence held by the homeopathic profession in North America. Myra is registered with the North American Society of Homeopaths, giving her the title “RSHom(NA)”, and is a member of the Bay Area Homeopathy Association. And presently sits on the board of the North American Society of Homeopaths.

To promote healing and stimulate detoxification, she offers a variety adjunctive therapeutics. A system of phytotherapy, called gemmotherapy. Myra received her training in gemmotherapy from the European Herbalist Federation. She is also a certified CEASE practitioner (CEASE stands for Complete Elimination of Autistic Spectrum Expression.) and homeoprophylacis. She received her training in metabolic balance® by the founder, Dr. Wolf Funfack. To celebrate food as medicine and in support of traditional healing arts, Myra has recently started a chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation in Contra Costa County.

Her undergraduate degree is in cultural anthropology and archaeology and she worked as an archaeologist for 15 years. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and worked for 13 years in the environmental field for public, private, and non-profit sectors. Additionally, she has training in magnetic therapy and crystal healing and has given workshops nationwide.
